When you choose A, you exclude B at the same time.

When you choose this career, you exclude others.  When you choose to spend your time doing this, you exclude doing that.  When you choose to live here, you exclude there.  When you chose him or her, you exclude the rest.

Decide who and where you want to be.  

Choosing is okay - and once you choose, make it great. 

Show genuine love and caring toward the other person.

It melts their defenses and makes them forget their problem with you. 

Love them - genuinely.

Who does it need to be today?

Listen and ask questions.  Understand their point of view as well as your own.

Ask questions. LISTEN.

Who have you not been listening to?

You can't - so don't argue.

If you assert yourself until you "win" the argument, you will lose the good favor of the other side.

Who likes their conquerors?

Nobody.  It's not worth it.  Don't argue.

The bigger the authority, the bigger the mistakes.

Common sense is the same no matter how big you scale it.

Feeling like you have to argue with others (everyone) about how your position is right gets you into arguments. 

Just being a quiet example of your beliefs is a lot more peaceful example of an effective person.

Why fight?

Wrong question.  Poverty is the natural state of man.  We are all born with nothing.

What causes prosperity is the right question.

That we know the answer to.  Rule of Law, Property Rights, Individual Freedom.
